Families are invited to dance, sing and unleash their inner rock star at Marion’s first community music festival.

The non-stop show includes four hours of live music, open mic sessions and entertainment for kids.

There’s the chance to win great prizes for air guitar heroes and people who come dressed as their favourite musician.

The event will showcase the best of classic rock and pop at Heron Way Reserve, Hallett Cove, 2pm to 6pm, Sunday, 25 March.

Entry is free.

MAIN STAGE

Headliners, Adelaide’s top party band Escapades, will perform a blistering mix of pop, funk and soul.

The Decibells will get the party started with a powerful set of 50s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll hits.

Breezin will then hit the stage with a performance of foot stomping rock classics.

FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS

More than 20 Fork on the Road food trucks will sell cuisine from around the world.

Bring a blanket, relax on the grass and enjoy views of the spectacular coastline.

The Amazing Drumming Monkeys and Noises for Kids will have children of all ages laughing and singing along.

Make a musical instrument from recycled materials, design an album cover, decorate a microphone

Concert at the Cove celebrates the completion of the more than $1 million upgrade of Grand Central Reserve that now contains an amphitheatre, public art, paths and landscaped areas.

The event will be broadcast live by Coast FM 88.7.
