Australia’s greatest cycling event, the Santos Tour Down Under will welcome the best cyclists from around the world to South Australia to celebrate 20 years of history in January 2018.
The Santos Women’s Tour Down Under will be held from Thursday 11-Sunday 14 January 2018.
Commencing on Thursday 11 January, the Santos WTDU will open the UCI racing calendar ahead of the men’s WorldTour event starting on Sunday 14. The 2018 race will welcome 17 teams of elite international and national female cyclists to battle it out over four stages.
Upgraded to a UCI 2.1 category event for 2018 – just one level shy of WorldTour status – the Santos Women’s Tour Down Under four-day race will feature some of the world’s best female teams on South Australia’s roads.
Townships throughout the hills regions will be treated to three extra days of world-class racing, before the Women’s champion is crowned at the People’s Choice Classic in Adelaide’s parklands on Sunday.
