Stadium Stomp Adelaide Oval

Stadium Stomp returns to the iconic Adelaide Oval with a new Autumn date of Sunday 20th May. The 2018 event will also see the introduction of two new Stomp categories – Short Course and Junior Stomp, both offering a taste of Stadium Stomp over a condensed course of 1,000 steps.

Climb your way up, down and around the bays of Adelaide Oval in this 6,000 (or 1,000) step stair climb. There will be rest stops (pick a seat!), drink stations and pumping music playing to keep you focused and energised. Plus, you’ll finish with a lap of the ground. Get ready Adelaide!

If you’re looking for something different for your next fitness challenge, something other than a fun run or bruising obstacle race, look no further than Stadium Stomp Adelaide Oval.

Stadium Stomp is suitable for participants of all fitness levels – choose your course and set your own pace.  Anyone 12 years or older can enter individually or as part of a team with friends, family or workmates. Younger participants, aged 5-11 years can enter the Junior Stomp category and Stomp at 11.15am accompanied by a registered adult.

Stadium Stomp supports official Charity Partner, the Leukaemia Foundation and participants are encouraged to make every step count and fundraise for this amazing charity, or alternatively a cause close to their heart.

Wrestle Rampage: RELOADED

Australia’s premier Live Pro Wrestling event, WRESTLE RAMPAGE, returns with a new venue and whole new level of mayhem! Port Adelaide will bare witness to Australia’s top professional wrestlers battling it out in several heavy hitting grudge matches!

Headlined by WWE Cruiserweight Classic star and Adelaide’s own Damian Slater fighting for the Australian National championship, the event will also feature more of Australia’s elite such as PWG star Jonah Rock and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s AJ Istria.

Adelaide Tennis Leagues – Summer Season 2018

Sign up for our summer season!

Our Adelaide Tennis Leagues are a great way of playing singles tennis in a fun, friendly, social tennis comp near you. You’ll play lots of tennis, meet lots of new like-minded players and improve your game.

Whether you are a beginner wanting to play for fun or a more seasoned player looking for an enjoyable, challenging tennis experience, we’ve got a division for you.

We’ve got two local tennis leagues in Adelaide: an Adelaide East and an Adelaide West Tennis League.

Nickelodeon is at the BBL

Nickelodeon is excited to be at the Big Bash League this summer! We’ll be offering kids and families a variety of activities and entertainment at BBL matches across the country. Join us at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, January 17 for the Adelaide Strikers vs Hobart Hurricanes game.

Kids can meet the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, play cricket with our giant inflatable cricket pitch and slide down our epic cricket slip’n’slide. Kids can also try out Nicket – Nickelodeon’s kids version of cricket using a ball and the backyard staple of a garbage bin.

Simply by being in the crowd, families will have a chance to win a trip to Sea World on the Gold Coast. Throughout the BBL season, families can also enter a competition for the opportunity to win a family trip to Los Angeles for the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards, including flights, accommodation and tickets to the event! This is the only way to access tickets for the annual, globally-loved Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

SANFL Australian Unity Fast Footy

SANFL fans, make sure you’re at Norwood Oval Feb 9 & 10 for the first ever Australian Unity Fast Footy competition!

See your favourite SANFL players in action, with 12 games being played across the two days – four on Friday night, and eight on the Saturday, with the Grand Final being played Saturday night.

12 players per team on the field – four midfielders, four forwards and four defenders, with unlimited interchanges.  Matches will include four 10-minute quarters, with 9 points awarded for any goal kicked from outside 50m arc.

It’s a race against the clock, get to 50 points before the final siren – not only do you win the game but you get a bonus point.

Each team will play two games before the top four teams are determined for the Semi’s and then Grand Final, with the finalists battling it out for their share of the $20,000 in prizemoney – all thanks to Australian Unity

It’s a new brand of footy – which will favour pacy players such as Redlegs running machine Anthony Wilson and exciting West Adelaide prospect Izak Rankine.

And with no more than four forwards and defenders permitted inside the 50m arch, it will be man on man with isolation guaranteed and plenty of anxious moments for the defenders

Fans can enjoy the carnival atmosphere with food trucks, kids activities, & entertainment to get the adrenalin pumping.

2018 AFLX Tournament – Adelaide

AFLX is a new and exciting version of Australian Football created to showcase some of the unique and most thrilling aspects of the game to attract new fans.

 

The AFLX version of Australian Football is fast paced and will be played on a rectangular field with seven players on the field and three on the bench.

 

AFLX is an express version of the game with explosive action to exhilarate fans of all ages.  Get ready for ten point ZOOPER goals, last touch out of bounds and non-stop action on and off the field.

 

AFLX 2018. Three tournaments. Three days. Three cities.

 

The AFLX tournaments promise to be a great family experience to enjoy with non-stop action exciting fans of all ages.

 

AFLX will provide a different experience for fans and will see plenty of action with fireworks, DJs, in game commentary, roving performers, kids and family zones and giveaways a feature at all events.
