The 2024 TAB Adelaide Cup is fast approaching and the only way to be right amongst the action is to buy a race- day package at the racecourse.
Morphettville invites event goers, punters, and fashionistas alike to experience more luxe, more style, more beats, and more fun this Adelaide Cup Day. Held Monday, 11th March on the lawns and in exclusive settings, there are various packages on offer.
With more than 7000 people expected, Grant Mayer, Morphettville CEO, says racegoers need to get in quick.
“We always have high interest in the TAB Adelaide Cup as part of Mad March, so we encourage punters to buy a package as soon as possible to avoid missing out,” says Grant. “From Croser Fashions on the Field, DJs, a family friendly entertainment zone, and the most impressive new venue in town, the Wolf Blass Event Centre, there’s truly something for everyone this year.”
Croser Fashions on the Field returns in 2024. There are categories for Best Dressed and Best Suited, with both bragging rights and a generous prize pack for each winner, including a $150 Westfield voucher, Croser Sparkling and cash.
Packages available are across six categories, varying in price to reflect options from general admission to a fine dining extravaganza.
The ground level of the Wolf Blass Event Centre will host the First Class Piper Champagne Lounge, which includes a five-hour beverage package from 12.30pm and curated canapes (chef selection), oysters and creamy lobster rolls and entertainment DJ Ali and vocalist Kate Lewis. A formal cocktail affair, this $285 package also includes entertainment, a race book, flowing Piper Heidsieck champagne and trackside views of the big race.
This will be the first Adelaide Cup event for the newly completed Wolf Blass Event Centre, a stunningly contemporary space with 6m-high glass windows that opened late 2023. Named in line with the philanthropic and commercial contribution by wine great, Wolf Blass, the centre provides the perfect setting for a luxury-level Adelaide Cup experience.
Morphettville’s other fine dining experience is in The Winning Post restaurant, where for $349, guests receive a four-course luncheon, five-hour beverage package from 12pm, and a race book; as well as unparalleled elevated views of the finishing post, framed by sweeping vistas of the Adelaide Hills.
Trackside on ground level, there’s the Canadian Club Giddy Up Club package for $220, including a four-hour beverage package from 12pm (including Canadian Club), and food offerings from a conveniently localised kitchen.
