Located at a secret location on Kangaroo Island, experienced designers Gastronomo launch their new progressive dining event – The Feast, Kangaroo Island. A series of evening dining adventures inspired by the stars, ancient cooking techniques, and a few stories to be told…
Kangaroo Island is celebrated for its pristine and diverse wilderness alongside its exceptional local produce setting the perfect stage for Gastronomo to reveal its diverse and eciting range of dining events.
Gastronomo’s most recent accomplishment was to reopen The Enchanted Fig Tree through a National Bushfire Recovery Grant program – a fantastic government initiative that has enabled the team to once again offer this unique dining experience for the 2021/22 season.
The philosophy behind Gastronomo is simple – bespoke dining events that are designed to connect diners to the spirit and essence of a location through its local produce, story telling, a hint of theatre and a touch of the unexpected.
“It’s not just about what a customer tastes, sees or shares on Instagram! It’s more about how they feel or what they remember that counts”.
Without giving too much away, Gastronomo owner Nick Hannaford explains the new dining event The Feast, Kangaroo Island will have guests surrounded by flickering candlelight, in a venue hand-crafted by old sugar gum trees. The evening’s progressive feast will explore historic cooking techniques that invite guests to explore different tastes and flavours inspired from the land and sea, cooked amongst fires and on the coals.
The Feast dining experience is being launched today and will be open for 2 week intervals each month, starting from the 16th September 2021 through until the end of November 2021, with tickets going on sale now. Bookings and available dates can be found on the Gastronomo website www.gastronomodining.com.au Price: $145 inc gst Bookings for both The Feast and The Enchanted Fig Tree are open at www.gastronomodining.com.au • Instagram – @GastronomoDining • Facebook/gastronomodining
