The Choir Of Man – ★★★★★
Ever wanted to go to a pub where everybody knows your name? Where the beer on tap is free (Eh did someone say free beer? Oh yer!), & the music is so good you will never want to leave? If the answer is yes (which of course it is!), well then Choir of Man is just for you!
Dedicated fans of The Magnets & Soweto Gospel Choir, you’re in for a treat too as this show is from the same creative team, so you know it’s a high quality guarantee!
Choir of Man is comprised of 9 seemingly ordinary lads who possess extraordinarily talented. They all appear to be triple threats – they can dance, they can act & MAN OH MAN can they sing! Enter The Jungle, as familiar as any other ol’ pub you’ve ever been to before – but walk out with far more than a standard night out at your local.
Choir of Man are able to put their own unique spin on some of your favourite songs. “500 Miles” becomes a delicate piano ballad, & Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” becomes a love song serenade dedicated to one unsuspecting audience member! But don’t worry, if you happen to be one of the lucky ones selected from the crowd, you will be rewarded with a drink to help calm your nerves!
The UK based boys also do a fabulous tribute to one of our Australian legends – John Farnham, giving “You’re the Voice” & full & lush sound like never before. Tap dancing & stein slamming their way through many other numbers, you’ll be sure to be drumming along as well!
This is one pub you will definitely walk away from with the urge to return again later! Bring your beer & best singing voice & join in with the fellas from Choir of Man for a night like you’ll never forget!
