Pre-purchased tickets are essential – book early to avoid disappointment!

We’re open on the first Sunday and third Saturday of the month – stay tuned for special school holiday opening hours.

If you’re lucky, you might also see some remote-controlled model boats cruising around our lake – or some familiar faces popping up over at our garden scale miniature rail layout.

When you get hungry, grab some hot chips, cool drinks and frozen treats from our canteen – or a nice cup of tea if the excitement’s a bit much.

Gates open 1:30pm
Stations open: 2:00pm
Stations close: 4:00 pm

Park entry fee: $7 for adults and children over 3yrs
Rides are free – have as many as you want!

Remember to wear closed toe footwear to ride our trains.
Even though they might be small, our steam engines use real coal to make real steam and real soot. Passengers might get dirty!

For safety reasons, SASMEE Park may not open due to inclement weather. We will not open on days where the official Adelaide BOM forecast is over 35C, or when dangerous storms are predicted.
