Fringe Review – Tahir : Adult Comedy Meets Sh#t magic ★★★★★

Turkish comedian Tahir – not to be mistaken as the Magpie Man – was fantastic! One of his stories talks about being stalked by one of Magpie Man’s fans. Tahir was shocked, mid-story, when he saw the Magpie Man in the audience. It wasn’t staged, just a surprise visit, but added to the fun.

This is a must see show. It’s hilarious, fun and you’re guaranteed to have a good night out with Tahir. We learnt how NOT to do good magic, laughing all the way through each attempt.

He shares the awkwardness of trying to do stand up comedy to a couple of newly weds at a romantic candle lit diner, interrupted by their baby crying in the bedroom and toilet breaks. Awkward, strange and challenging. This was a symptom of COVID and the desperation of accepting any gig you can get.

His mind reading skills were intentionally off track, but funny. Then there was more sh#t magic and entertaining performances involving the audience.

This is a winner show, so book yourself in before it sells out

See Tahir at Gluttony
