The speaker will be Dr James Hopeward né Ward, Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering, UniSA STEM. Dr Hopeward’s research focuses on ‘big-picture sustainability problems such as the limits to the planet’s energy supplies, climate change and economic growth’. He was a lead author on the UN’s 6th Global Environmental Outlook Report (https://www.unep.org/global-environment-outlook), a founding member of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (https://wellbeingeconomy.org/) and a past National President of Sustainable Population Australia (https://population.org.au/). Dr Hopeward will speak for around forty-five minutes, followed by audience questions and brief comments, moderated by the Chair to ensure open and respectful discussion.

Doors open at 6:30pm for a prompt start at 7pm.

Entry is by gold coin donation.
