Songs for a Muse is the final recital of the three-part series presented by State Opera South Australia. Composer Franz Liszt was captivated and inspired by the great operas of Verdi, and by his relationship with French courtesan Marie Duplessis, the real La traviata. Virtuoso pianist Konstantin Shamray showcases Liszt’s music in a passionate recital with guest soprano Fiona McArdle – another stunning array of opera and classical music talent.

Not to be missed, Songs for a Muse is set to be a truly magnificent event with the nature of the venue allowing the audience to experience these spectacular artists up close, creating the opportunity for a deep visceral connection between music, audience, and performer.
