The Shannons Adelaide Rally returns from November 25 to 27, with free community events on all three days in and around Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.
After the first day of action on Friday November 25, the full rally field will be on display at the Gouger Street Party from 5pm. See more than 300 rare and exotic cars up close, with live music and extended outdoor dining along the restaurant strip.
Adelaide Hills residents get the chance to see the field at two lunch stops: from 11:30am in Uraidla at the Uraidla Showgrounds on Saturday November 26 and in Strathalbyn at the Soldiers Memorial Gardens on Sunday November 27.
For those wanting to see the cars in action, there’s the Wairoa Special Stage, which takes place on Saturday November 26 from 2:45pm between Aldgate and Stirling on Mount Barker Road. Spectators can see the cars take off from Aldgate or enter the viewing area from the Stirling end of the stage, where the elevated area among the pines offers plenty of viewing positions on the western side of Mount Barker Road.
The rally concludes in Victoria Park on a section of the Adelaide Street Circuit, four days before the start of the VALO Adelaide 500, on Sunday November 27 from 3pm. In addition to the final stage of the rally, there will be classic Formula 1 cars and V8 Supercars demonstrations, entertainment and more, with entry off East Terrace/Halifax Street.
Best of all, these events are all free to attend!
