The Kaurna people are the traditional owners and custodians of the Adelaide Plains. On this two-and-a-half hour walk, with Kaurna elder Rod O’Brien, you’ll learn about traditional elders and discover their stories of the past as told through art and word.
The trail invites reflection on Kaurna life before European settlement and explores the impact of this settlement on Aboriginal people.
It takes in sites both within the Adelaide Park Lands and also in the CBD.

Unlike APA’s regular Guided Walks, proceeds from this event will go to the Graham F Smith Peace Foundation which produced the Trail (with the help of a grant from the City of Adelaide).
Tickets are $20 each or $15 for concession card holders (including full-time student concession). APA Members can secure a $5 discount on these prices by using the APA Member discount code when booking.
The APA Member discount code is provided to APA Members in each edition of the bimonthly emailed Newsletter “Open Green, Public.” If you are not already an APA Member, please consider joining our Association to support our work to ‘Explore, Inspire, Protect, and Restore’ your Adelaide Park Lands.
