To the ancient Greeks, the Muses were goddesses who embodied the essence of poetry, lyric, music and myth.
Muse pays homage to three modern-day musical goddesses Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell and Stevie Nicks.
Each woman’s unique poetry, musicianship, vocals and performance style has given voice to generations of women’s deepest feelings and desires – and inspired countless other artists.
Muse takes place over the first weekend of spring (Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September) at Nexus Arts, Adelaide’s premier cabaret and music venue.
