PARC BRASSERIE & BAR FAREWELL WINTER WITH A SERIES OF EXCLUSIVE EVENTS

PARC Brasserie and Bar’s high-quality cuisine and unparalleled service will be on display this August, offering events that will delight all the senses.

PARC Restaurant & Bar Manager, Clement Demarais, encourages patrons to make the most of PARC’s August offerings, promising a packed month of exclusive events for food enthusiasts, whisky connoisseurs and music lovers alike.

“Every Thursday night at PARC Bar we will be offering our chef’s latest tapas selection for ‘Tapas & Tunes.’ This will be a wonderful opportunity for guests to taste our new offerings in a delightful setting,” says Clement.

Tapas highlights include Gambas Al Ajillo, Calamares Fritos, Salmon Croquettas and Potato Bravas with Smoky Aioli.

In addition to savoury delicacies, PARC will be hosting live music from 5pm to 8 pm every Thursday throughout August. “Guests will have the chance to enjoy great music while savouring our culinary creations,” says Clement.

Music aficionados can expect to enjoy the soothing vocals of Adelaide’s Greg Suri, a star of his local music scene in his native Timor, as well as Bali, where he played at major events and festivals. Greg’s smooth sounds will provide the perfect melodic backdrop in PARC’s renovated setting. He will perform his large repertoire of old favourites, ranging from Bruno Mars to The Beatles and will play on Thursday, 1st , 15th and 29th August.

For those who enjoy an eclectic style, Fiji-born Joe Amputch, who now calls Adelaide home, will be performing on Thursday, 8th and 22nd August. Joe’s music has been inspired by traditional island music, blues, gospel and reggae. His sets promise to captivate with a unique sense of groove and rhythm, a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the working week.

For those who prefer a warming glass of whisky to unwind, PARC boasts several options for guests this August.

Furthermore, to commemorate Tasmanian Whisky Week from 5-11 August, guests will be presented with an extensive selection of choices when it comes to sampling some of the country’s best whisky.

“We are so excited to announce that owner and distiller of McHenry Distillery, Sir Bill McHenry, will showcase his McHenry Stout Cask Whisky exclusively at PARC this August,” says Clement. “Other well-known beverages will also be exclusively on offer at PARC throughout Tasmanian Whisky Week, including McHenry Barrel Aged Gin, Peated Whisky, and 10-Year-Old Tasmanian Whisky.”

To promote his whisky, Sir Bill McHenry will visit South Australia at the end of August. “We are happy to announce that we have secured Sir Bill for an exclusive evening in our restaurant,” says Clement. “This exclusive event will be an evening to remember for all whisky lovers out there.”

The event will commence at 6pm and will feature unique offerings such as stout whisky-aged beer with snacks, Tasmanian whisky with canapés, a comparison of two whiskies (peated and stout) with the main course, and a whiskey and chocolate liqueur made by the McHenry distiller.

Clement urges interested patrons to book quickly, as the event will be capped at 40 attendees. Ticket price is $110 per person and bookings can be made via the PARC website.

For those already thinking ahead to Spring and planning their Father’s Day, PARC is pleased to announce that they are currently open to bookings for their special Father’s Day event.

PARC’s meticulously curated menu offers a range of European flavours using the finest ingredients sourced from South Australia, ensuring a truly exceptional dining experience for those wanting to celebrate the fathers in their life.
