BURLESQUE CIRCUS HIT ‘INFAMOUS’ RETURNS TO ADELAIDE FRINGE IN 2025

The risqué Fringe favourite, _Infamous, _will be back for the 2025 Adelaide Fringe Festival season, showcasing a riveting burlesque circus performance guaranteed to keep audiences enthralled. It will again run across the entire month-long festival after a sell-out 2024 season.

With an R18+ rating, the adult cirque is held in its own custom-built Spiegel Big Top, which will return to Ellis Park (Sir Donald Bradman Drive).

Director, Michelle Jarman, says the 2024 response to _Infamous_ at the Adelaide Fringe Festival was beyond their expectations.

“We were absolutely thrilled by how many people came to see the show, and there was no question that we would return in 2025 with the team’s amazing performance,” says Michelle. “The Adelaide Fringe Festival is the first-ever arts festival that _Infamous_ has been linked to, and we hope to see new and returning audiences discover – or re-discover – the grand story we tell.

“_Infamous_ brings a different circus experience unlike anything lovers of the genre have seen.”

Both intimate and breathtakingly grand, immersive, and sensual, _Infamous_ features world-class specialty acts including the mesmerising flying trapeze and jaw-dropping stunts. Throw in a bit of naughty comedy and some original songs, and the circus combines with burlesque and cabaret for something unique.

With a cast of more than 20 and an even bigger crew, _Infamous_ is no small production, and its diversity is key to its success. Live singing showcases powerhouse vocals from performers, while the thrilling Wheel of Death will have people gasping in their seats.

The two-hour show can be enjoyed with the opportunity for a premium experience – VIP tables of two include drinks and snacks. For those preferring reserve or ringside seats, food and beverages will be available for purchase. There is also a licenced bar for those wanting to buy alcohol on the night.

_Infamous_ has toured across all of Australia, and the US and has been shown to more than 200,000 delighted guests.

The Spiegel Big Top hosts nearly 700 people and will host nightly shows at 8pm on Tues-Fri, and Sunday. Saturdays will have shows at 6pm and 9pm.

General admission tickets are available from $65 per person, while ringside tickets are priced from $100 and tables from $125. Tickets are available from the Adelaide Fringe Festival website.
