Adelaide Dumpling Tour

Dumpling Tour in Adelaide Last Saturday I went on Feast on Foot’s Dumpling Tour and it was amazing. The tour started at 2.30 with empty gurgling (we were warned not to eat lunch) and dumpling-ready foodies. We tried to pace ourselves with the first sampler – knowing full well we had a lot of dumplings from different cuisines to devour. But this didn’t last long because the food was irresistible! The tour guide was a passionate foodie; in fact the whole group were, which made for an enjoyable experience as we all shared stories about our favourite food places and compared notes on the best pizzas, pies, and burgers in Adelaide. Walking through the backstreets of Adelaide, we learnt more than just where to get the best dumplings, but also lots of interesting historical facts about Adelaide – including a fascinating story about the evolution of the Central Market. Our tour guide also showed us some spectacular street art, which I didn’t even know existed, along with the story behind each one, in between each dumpling dinner date. I won’t give away where we went, but what I will say is these Feast on Foot people know their dumplings and each meal was out of this world. The tour went for two and a half hours and we were full to the brim with Adelaide’s most delicious dumplings. It was a fantastic experience and I’m certainly heading back to my favourite places soon. What a great, inexpensive way to taste Adelaide’s finest. The Feast on Foot team also run lots of other tours which I am eager to experience.
