blend ettiquette

Spirits are really coming alive in South Australia with now over 100 distillers across the state and so many quirky distillery doors to visit. Whether you like gin, whisky, rum, liqueurs – SA distillers have your palate covered.

Here are a few of our recommendations…

Blend Etiquette

Hidden away on Main South Road you’ll find Blend Etiquette’s cellar door and tasting room. Hit up this place on a sunny day and sit in their gin garden overlooking their exquisite mural by South Australian artist, Jasmine Crisp, or enjoy tastings inside with their stills in the background.

Reform Distilling

Part of the Eastside Wine & Ale Trail, this quirky distillery is hidden away in the back streets around the corner of Fullarton and Payneham Roads. Drop in for a gin, a game of darts and best of all, you can bring your pooch along as this place is dog friendly. Find out more.

Imperial Measures

Stop by Imperial Measures for lunch or dinner to try their delicious burgers and wash it down with their range of award winning gins and liqueurs. Located in Thebarton, you’ll love this warehouse vibe and their friendly service.

Route 9 Distillery

Make your way out to Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills to visit Route 9 for their small batch spirits and some delicious food. With three brands on site taste your way through Square 1 Gin, Adelaide Hills Whisky Co and the Rum Project.

Never Never Distilling

With stunning views out over McLaren Vale this distillery door is a sight for sore eyes. Never Never is part of the Chalk Hill Collective so book in your gin tasting or flight, fill up on Italian street food from Cucina de Strada, located on site and even head next door for a glass of wine.

This place is so perfectly Instagram-worthy and their talented team of bartenders will have you marvelling over their picture perfect cocktails.

Prohibition Liquor

Located in the city on Gilbert Street, Prohibition Liquor is the perfect place for an afterwork or pre-dinner drop. You’ll love ultra-premium craft gins that have been recognised globally, antipasto platters and sample their latest seasonal releases.

Seppeltsfield Road Distillers

You simply can’t go past Seppeltsfield Road Distillers in the Barossa. This architecturally designed distillery door is the perfect place to relax, look out over the incredible Barossa scenery and enjoy a delicious gin or two. The staff are amazing, there are so many gins to choose from and their distillery door doggo is the cutest. Do yourself a favour and try the Shiraz gin.
