ADL FASHION WEEK ANNOUNCES STELLAR LINE UP OF RUNWAYS AND EVENTS

ADL Fashion Week in 2025, presented by the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), will see over 30 events citywide, including five runways amaze at The Loft, with presale tickets going on sale this Tuesday (9th September 2025).

Greg Ratsch, General Manager, AEDA, says “We are thrilled to feature upcoming, established and local designers across these runways, showcasing Adelaide’s talent and creativity.

“While general tickets go on sale to the public on Wednesday, 10th September, it’s recommended fashion fanatics sign up via adlfashionweek.com for the first access to runway and event tickets, as these incredible shows will sell out fast!”

All ages runways at The Loft, within The Richmond Hotel, will showcase local and national designers across Friday, 10th October (6pm and 9pm), and Saturday, 11th October (11am, 3pm and 7pm). Contributing to an exceptional showcase of fashion and creativity, the runways welcome the return of the Clip Joint Creative Team as the Official Hair Partner for the festival, who are celebrating fifty years in 2025, and Media Makeup as the Official Makeup Partner.

Dr Nathan James Crane, Board Chair of the South Australian Fashion Industry Association (SAFIA), says, “SAFIA is excited to partner with ADL Fashion Week this year, and to see these five incredible runways come to life.”

The first, _Future Collective_, sees the future of local fashion get their moment in the spotlight. Presented by SAFIA, rising visionaries showcasing their work include Archives of Zobo, Blakesby Hats & Accessories, Bübish, 23rd August, The Wolf Gang, VAN BRUSSEL, Studio Lexi and Katya Komarova.

Acler will host the second of Friday’s runways with a solo display of the house’s Resort 26 collection. Led by ADL Fashion Week Icons Kathryn Forth and Julia Ritorto, this will be an exclusive first look of the collection for ADL Fashion Week 2025, and globally.

Co-Founder, Kathryn Forth, says, “Proudly South Australian owned and designed, Acler is honoured to present Resort ’26 as a celebration of transformation – of womanhood in motion, design in evolution, and life in constant reinvention. Defined by architectural form, couture-inspired construction, and a sense of the unexpected, the collection embraces fluidity through motifs of rebirth, refined signature styles, and silhouettes that shift with life’s rhythm.”

Co-Founder, Julia Ritorto, says, “True to Acler’s DNA, it is thoughtful and ever evolving. Created to empower women to feel like the best version of themselves and to empower them to express their personal sense of style – the solo runway show offers the perfect stage to bring this vision to life.”

Saturday’s 11am runway features further state creatives with vibrant narratives of originality and design, revealing pieces from Byrd Studio, Catherine Ferraro, Crestwell Australia, Frock Me Out, Iris & Wool, Kinney, and Serafina.

At 3pm, _The Edit_ showcases new season collections from AJE, David Jones, Yaneth, Lanamara, Leonard St, Off Duty, Viktoria & Woods and Willow Bay Australia.

_Handcrafted,_ the final runway at 7pm, displays a glimpse into the art of couture and beyond. Celebrating the pinnacle of South Australia’s couture houses, the likes of couture+love+madness, Alexis George, A’EL ESTE, Caleche Bridal, GretaKate and Horrocks Vale Collections will take centre stage.

Outside of the runways, the full events program for this year’s ADL Fashion Week ranges from a ballet performance blended with fashion, to high teas, shopping tours, long lunches, fashionable dinners and pearl jewellery workshops across some of Adelaide’s best venues.

SAFIA will host an industry breakfast to kick off ADL Fashion Week on Wednesday, 8th October at Yakisan, with Latteria presenting _Studio 185_ – where runway meets party meets dining – at 6pm, to launch the first night of the festival.

Adelaide Town Hall hosts _Casanova and His Mistresses_, featuring a live performance from the Adelaide Ballet Company, and regional wine (4.30pm, Saturday, 11th October).

Station Road hosts a long lunch from 12.30pm on Friday, 10th October – a laidback afternoon of fun and flavour with three courses. Two high teas at Bon Vivant (2pm, Sunday, 12th October) and the Sofitel (1pm, Saturday, 11th October) promise refined elegance with French influences and runways/workshops.

Sustainable fashion events include _Exploring Slow Fashion_ by Flamboyance Tours, a walking tour visiting Adelaide’s unique local slow fashion businesses (3pm, Friday, 10th October and 11am, Saturday, 11th October).

Inclusive fashion is highlighted by designer Drika Valerio (Ramona Adapt) in a workshop guiding attendees through sketching and garment adaptation (2pm, Wednesday, 8th and Friday, 10th October).

New collection drops by VAN BRUSSEL (4.30pm, Thursday, 9th October) and runways curated by stylist Mirella Romano for _Sunset Reset Runway_ (7pm, Saturday, 11th October) are set to amaze.

Presale tickets for those signed up to ADL Fashion Week’s list will be available this Tuesday (9th September) from 10:30am. General tickets go on sale to the public on Wednesday, 10th September.
