Glenelg’s hottest seaside eatery, Coast, will soon launch its new seasonal menu under new Head Chef, Dan Serafin, as well as bottomless brunches.
Coast is renowned for its constant menu recreations, working off the seasonal, local produce South Australia has to offer.
Dan Serafin has recently moved to Coast, previously serving in a Head Chef role within other GM Hotels properties.
Dan says creating Coast’s latest menu has allowed him to focus on iconic staples with exceptional twists to well-known classics.
“We utilise local produce wherever we can at Coast, and this season’s change is bringing more warming dishes like handmade pasta, braised beef sliders, and grilled saganaki with blue gum honey,” says Dan. “The updated menu is prepared for the cool change coming, and I’m certain guests are going to love what we’ve done with some of the favourite dishes.”
Menu items range from light snacks and entrees like Sicilian sashimi to pasta made in-house and bigger plates, including saltwater barramundi served with a lobster bisque.
Another among the touted favourites is the Southern Rock Lobster Roll. Served in a snack size on a toasted brioche with baby cos and caviar, it is a seafood delight aiming to convert those both for and against the crustacean.
The rolls will also be the focus of a weekday lunch special (excluding public holidays) – Lobster Rolls and Bubbles for $25 from Monday to Thursday, alongside a $35 Barramundi and Pinot Grigio deal.
This, along with an offering of Rockefeller oysters served with herb butter and toasted breadcrumbs, is Coast’s strength as a favourite for quality seafood at the Bay.
The Glenelg location not only boasts a prime location for seafood but also Adelaide’s newest bottomless brunch venue, launching on the Easter long weekend.
There are two options on offer – a bottomless brunch session on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and a bottomless lunch session on Saturday afternoons.
Bottomless Brunchin’ All Weekend will take bookings between 10am and 11am, for a maximum duration of 1.5 hours. For a minimum four people, unlimited mimosas are provided for $30 per person with breakfast menu items available at an additional cost. For the Saturday Lunch Bottomless Session, the 12pm to 2pm running time includes bottomless cocktails, with a full cocktail menu available.
With a minimum group of six, the cocktails will cost $45 per person, with lunch menu items available at an additional cost.
Coast is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week – breakfast from 6:30am to 11am, lunch 12pm to 2.30pm, and dinner from 5.30pm until late. Full menus, and bookings including Mother’s Day lunch, can be made online via their website.
