Distill brings the nightlife back to Rundle Street

Rundle Street’s favourite party destination, Distill, is excited to bring the sophisticated nightlife back to the East End.

Earlier this year, the much-loved wine, gin and cocktail bar welcomed its new owner, 26-year-old entrepreneur Steven Giles, who has given the venue a revamp whilst maintaining its classy, eclectic feel.

Steven Giles says, “Distill was love at first sight for me – the previous owners did an excellent job to create such an iconic venue in the East End, but as with any new business, there’s always a huge list of ideas to evolve.

“Together with my venue manager, Richard Chao and our fantastic team of staff, we begun the ‘facelift’. The ground level boasts a more open floorplan with cosy booths, the perfect setting to enjoy drinks with friends,” says Steven Giles.

Along with the new look, comes a new party – “Every Day’s The Weekend’ now that Distill is the official resident afterparty venue for Fresh 92.7’s weekly ‘Windback Wednesday’.

Steven Giles says, “Wednesday night’s at Distill will be nothing but indie tunes, cool vibes and Coopers on tap – the University and hospitality crowd who are looking for hump day fun…

“I’m excited to bring the buzz back to Rundle Street with the new and improved Distill being the go-to destination every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night,” says Steven Giles.

Distill will continue its beloved weekend events including Knock Offs from 4:30pm every Friday. Resident RnB DJs will hit the decks upstairs on 286 Friday’s and Distill Saturday’s from 10pm.

Located at 286 Rundle Street, Distill is the destination for a sophisticated night out with seasonal handcrafted cocktails and diverse range of regional wines and speciality beers. For more information, visit www.distilladelaide.com.
