SWOTVAC is almost here but it’s not exams that you should be studying for – but our infamous AUES Quiz Night! Prepare for a true test of your wits and study up on some general knowledge, memes, music, sports, and more.

Ever wondered how engineering students actually get jobs after Uni? It’s coming out on top in this iconic event. Employers care about one thing and one thing only – An AUES Quiz Night win on your LinkedIn profile. So round up 10 (including yourself) of the brightest, most talented and best dressed students you know for a night of dressing up like kids, doing trivia like adults and drinking like engineers.

******Things your team should know******
– Teams must arrive by 7:00 pm on the night
– Tables of ten (10, dieci, sepuluh, dix, zehn, X, wa’maH, 1010, dek) people
– You are encouraged to bring your own snacks to share
– The event is NOT BYO alcohol – Bevvies will be provided by us (you are welcome)
– Quiz night is 18+ so please make sure you bring appropriate ID.
– Bribery of the judges, markers and MC is encouraged and is a good way to get extra points. Judges accept food amongst other things…
– Cheaters will be punished for their crimes against the SANCTITY OF THE AUES QUIZ NIGHT
– Go hard or go home with your themes. Prizes will be given out for best costumes!!

Tables will cost you a mere $300, which works out to be just $30 per head. Bookings will open online on the 25/7 at MIDDAY. We advise you to get your team and theme sorted before this, as tables will sell out quick!

Get out your Nan’s sewing kits and get cracking because the best dressed/undressed tables will get bonus points and will also win a prize.

Once the online purchase of tables is open, choice of theme will be on a first in best dressed basis. Some theme ideas are shown below, but you are more than welcome to come up with your own!
