Walk a Mile in My Boots provides South Australian’s the opportunity to show their support for Hutt St Centre and people challenged by homelessness.
Come together with friends, families, and colleagues to walk a mile in the boots of a person facing homelessness in South Australia; by walking one mile on a cold, winter’s morning.
Walk a Mile in My Boots Adelaide
Friday 10 August, 7:00am for 7.30am
Start: Victoria Park /Pakapakanthi (Wakefield Road entrance)
Finish: South Park Lands/ Tuthangga, Hutt Road
The walk takes approx. 30mins, followed by a ‘traditional Hutt St Centre BBQ breakfast’.
Join us during National Homelessness Week to show that homelessness is an important issue to you, and that no person should feel like they are walking alone.
When you walk with us, you become one of the many voices that says no one in our community should be without a safe, secure home.
When you fundraise, you ensure people experiencing homelessness can access vital services that allow them to rebuild their lives.
Hutt St Centre has been helping people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives for over 60 years, and, without the help of people like you, could not provide life changing and essential services each year.
Homelessness can and does happen to anyone.
