Two-time Silver Logie winner for Most Popular Actor and eight-time nominee Erik Thomson will entertain us with stories from his wide-ranging career.
From his early NZ work as Hades in Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess, through to All Saints, Packed to the Rafters, and 800 Words, Erik has made a name for himself as one of Australasia’s best loved actors.
He’ll share insights into his process as an actor, and anecdotes from behind the scenes of his favourite characters, including Easton West in Adelaide series Aftertaste, which he also co-produced.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards The Mercury’s programs for emerging filmmakers, supporting the next generation of South Australian talent.
With plenty of audience interaction, the event is a must-attend, whether you’re an emerging filmmaker, a cinema lover or one of Erik’s many fans.
Bar open from 5pm for a complimentary drink on arrival. Session starts at 5:30. Join us in the Mercury foyer after the conversation to spend time with other filmmakers and film lovers.
