Cannes Camera d’Or winner Warwick Thornton will offer insights into his internationally acclaimed projects as Director and Cinematographer.
From his early work in short films through to Samson and Delilah and his recent film The New Boy – starring Aswan Reid, Deborah Mailman, Wayne Blair and Cate Blanchett – Warwick will share his approach to storytelling, and break down some of his favourite scenes.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards The Mercury’s programs for emerging filmmakers, supporting the next generation of South Australian talent.
With plenty of audience interaction, the event is a must-attend, whether you’re an emerging filmmaker, a cinema lover or simply a fan of Warwick’s work.
Bar open from 5pm for a complimentary drink on arrival. Session starts at 5:30. Join us in the Mercury foyer after the conversation to spend time with other filmmakers and film lovers.
