Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival
The roads will still be with food trucks, live bands and DJ’s providing entertainment throughout the day.
Where and When?
Every year on the first Sunday in February the Esplanade closes to traffic and comes alive with the Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival.
Sunday kicks off from 7.30 in the morning with with egg and bacon breakfasts and a Surf Boat Carnival, the Brighton Jetty Classic Street Festival offers music, entertainment, arts, TV personalities, sculptures, and market stalls.
Bring your family and beach bag by train, car, walk or bike, dine at one of local establishments, the Brighton Surf Club bar or at the many specialty food trucks. Be sure to join our family friendly event.
The Main Stage
The main stage keeps the party alive Sunday from 9am to 5pm. With an under cover marquee to protect from the sun and adjacent life saving clubhouse bar. You can sing, dance and enjoy the bands, DJs, fashion parades and performers through the morning and into the afternoon.
Market Stalls
From Fairy Floss to Organic Juice, Egg and Bacon roll or Sausages Sizzle to Gourmet Pork Sliders or Seafood Basket, even Strawberries & Cream. There is something for everybody among the festivals street vendors and food trucks, as well as the great local cafes and Esplanade Hotel. Grab a bite, sit on the beach, take in the activities and plunge in the water.
Once you have finished eating be sure to stroll through the market stalls. With sporting and swim wear, jewellery, arts and more.

Brighton Jetty Sculptures
A visit to Brighton would not be complete without viewing the Brighton Jetty Sculptures. The event runs for 10 days finishing on the Australia Day weekend.
In 2008 the Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures event was launched and incorporated as the lead up to the swim, bringing art and culture to this already beautiful place and adding another level of engagement to the Brighton community.
Have your say on the people’s choice award for the best indoor and outdoor sculptures.
