DESCRIPTION:Fine Washi Art promotes traditional Japanese fine wash art. Established in February 2012 in Adelaide and developed with assistance from various partners\, Fine Washi Art has grown within a short period of time. \nTaking up flamenco dancing as a hobby introduced her to the wondrously coloured embroidery of the flamenco dancing shawl and saw the birth of a blended passion: her joy in the dance and in the beauty of the colours of the dancing costumes. In the field of traditional Japanese fine arts\, hand-crafted paper\, washi\, (treasured for its range of textures and colours) offered Gigi a means to further explore her passion for colour. Through her work as a beautician\, her passionate connection to flamenco dancing and its colour\, her deep aesthetic appreciation for the exquisite range of texture in washi paper\, Gigi has developed as an independent artist in the field which she calls Fine Washi Art and in which she is gaining a high level of recognition.

The larger\, more common champagne houses tend to source from growers around Champagne\, yet with growers\, you are looking at some sensational single vineyard wines at exceptional value. Some of the growers on show will be Agrapart and Egly Ouriet. Tickets are limited bookings essential. \nPlease note: this ticket price does not include entry to the Champagne Fest. \nVintage Champagne Session – 2pm until 2.45pm \nTickets $40 per person \nWe all love a good aged bottle of red wine\, so let’s look at the art of vintage Champagne. Champagne requires at least 3 years of aging in the bottle prior to release\, with most fine houses releasing their Champagne after 7-8 years. We will look at some truly masterful wines. Expect to see a combination of small and large producers. Come join Zacchary on Sunday for a fun demonstration using vegan honeycomb and SA’s own vegan FruChocs. \nAudiences loved Zac’s energy and love of food\, especially the naughtier side of vegan food\, last year and we are thrilled to have him back again! \nZac Bird is a home cook who loves to create food that is fatty\, indulgent\, and all the things people think vegan food shouldn’t be. He started an Instagram account in order to surround himself with more cruelty free food and fell in love with engaging the community and creating things to share. Since then\, he’s operated a pop-up ice-cream shop\, worked with brands to introduce their vegan products\, given food demonstrations\, and had his recipes shared around the world. He loves anything deep fried and gluttonous and is most happy in his kitchen\, glass of wine in hand and funky music playing. You can find him anywhere delicious vegan food is served or being talked about.
