She has been named Australian of the Year twice and was the inaugural chairperson of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission. She was the first Aboriginal woman to be inducted into the Order of Australia and is a Commander of the Order of the British Empire. She was made a Companion of the Order of Australia in 1999.

That’s an average of 6 years in a typical lifespan! But when we learn how to realise that we’re dreaming while we’re still dreaming – when we learn how to have lucid dreams – we can control our dreams and make the most of their vast potential. In this five-hour interactive workshop presented by lucid dreaming scientist and teacher Dr Denholm Aspy\, you’ll hear about the latest in lucid dreaming science\, learn effective evidence-based techniques for inducing\, prolonging and controlling lucid dreams\, and learn how to use lucid dreaming for overcoming nightmares\, creative inspiration\, improving skills and abilities\, and more.
