Join us at Diverse-City on July 2nd for a one-night-only comedy extravaganza featuring a super stack of local women and non-binary performers.
Get ready to party alongside:

- 2017 RAW Comedy SA Winner Carla Wills
- Award winning comedy filmmaker and one half of The Coconuts, Leela Varghese
- Multidisciplinary storyteller, artist and “sick bitch”, Yasemin Sabuncu
- Emerging stand-up, and beardy non-binary babe Yoz Mensch
- “Australia’s funniest Hawaiian comic”, Kehau Jackson
- and Maiah Stewardson, presenting ‘A Lot of Thoughts And Feelings About Nigella Lawson’

Profits from this event will be donated to Girls Rock! Adelaide, a local youth org who run camps and programs where participants have the opportunity to develop their creativity in safe spaces led by female and gender diverse musicians and industry practitioners. Bar Bites will be available at the venue throughout the event, including vegetarian and vegan options. We’d love if you could support the Diverse-City community and purchase your dinner there! Fruit and cheese boards, sliders, fries, wedges, nachos, and cold rolls will be available.
VENUE & ACCESS INFORMATION
Diverse-City is centrally located on Grote Street in Adelaide’s CBD. It is an LGBTIQA-friendly venue committed to bringing people together regardless of ethnicity, sexuality and cultural background. UPark Central Market is right across the road.
There is rear door access to Diverse-City on Andrews Lane. Wheelchair access is across the apron within 0.5 meter to the rear door.
The disabled toilet is part of the Diverse-City building in the corridor just outside the stage doors. There are two unisex toilets near this entry and a urinal. One of the unisex toilets is also a disabled toilet. Upstairs there are an additional 3 unisex toilets.
The bar is lower than average at 90cms from the patron side as it built into the floor, making it quite accessible to all.
This will be a seated event and strobe lighting will not be used.
CLUB KICK-ONS
All ticket-holders will be granted free entry to My Lover Cindi at 223 Flinders Street (accessible venue) for fruity cocktails/mocktails and dancing after the event.
