When the seemingly perfect couple are trapped together in an elevator, three months after the breakup that shocked their parents (and themselves), they are forced to face each other and the choices they have made. Tackling the picture of a “successful” woman head on and laying out the harsh realities women face when they must choose between their dreams and everyone else’s, Expiration Date is the perfect show for the heartbroken, the newly single, or those with that one ex still lurking in the back of their minds.
Exploring what it means to be a woman in a relationship in a world post Roe v Wade reversal, Expiration Date is powerful feminist theatre with emotional heart.
