In a global, industrialised food system decisions are being made every day about what we eat, when, where and how. As food consumers how do we get a say in the way our food system operates?

As food consumers living in a democracy, we have a right to say how our food system could be improved, and to take steps – however small – to improve the system. This event will explore how democracy can be used to empower citizens to have choices and to find greater satisfaction in the food we eat.

Join Dr Sue Booth as she introduces the idea of food democracy, enabling food consumers to become food citizens.
