The recently upgraded Happy Valley Reservoir opened to the public for the first time in more than 120 years on 11 Dec 2021.

“Happy Valley Reservoir now features a 20-kilometre trail network for walking, running and bike riding, 110 hectares of water for kayaking and fishing, as well as new amenities such as two kayak launch areas, on-site car parking, barbecues, picnic shelters, a boardwalk jetty and lookout offering stunning views over the water”
“The site’s 20 kilometres of trails will take people along the water’s edge, through a pine forest, native flora and open grassy areas, which can be travelled on foot or on your mountain bikes and be ready to explore in time for a bumper summer holiday period”

7km, 14km & 21.1km distances on offer all with a 8:30am start time (the gates do not open until 7:30am).

Entry is from the Chandlers Hill Road carpark gates, from the roundabout with Kenihans Road, where you will see our setup just to the right of the gates.
