Celebrate Summer at the much-loved Harcourts Smith Semaphore Street Fair! The Street Fair is a day of fun and entertainment for everyone! 10am-5pm. This free, family-friendly event sees Semaphore Road closed to traffic from the Esplanade to Swan Terrace to come alive for a celebration in this iconic and historical part of Adelaide’s west. The event spills over onto the Semaphore foreshore with amusement rides for the whole family, a vintage steam engine display and a display from the Australian Navy and their Cadets. Follow the free Yellow Brick Road, where the first 400 kids get a gift from lots of sites along the way.
Semaphore Road comes alive with a wonderful festival atmosphere enjoyed by everyone from near and far! Over 280 market stalls fill the road, and a Stage with live performances and a Charity Auction add to the fun. There are alfresco food and pavement shopping sales, a Classic Motorbike display, DJs, live music and roving performers. Semaphore Road is the place to be on the last Sunday in November. We handpick over 280 unique and distinctive stallholders to be part of Adelaide’s biggest Street Fair. There will be handmade arts and crafts of every kind, new and vintage fashion, kids clothes and records, and gin to sample, bringing a stimulating atmosphere to the neighbourhood that has made this event famous.
