Are you struggling with lead aggression/reactivity?
The other week, Ryan King (OzcorpK9) flew to Melbourne for David McKelson’s (Pro Dog) Leash Aggression/Reactivity Workshop. As it was well worth the trip, we’ve joined forces to host the informative workshop in Adelaide!
Here’s why Ryan is bringing this workshop to SA:
“Dave brings a refreshing perspective that stems from his experience as a Zoo Trainer. He did a great job of explaining what to do, when to do it, and why things are happening. Invaluable advice for many.
It’s all very similar to what we do. Contextually and fundamentally, it’s an approach we already preach.
So, it’s about understanding your dog better!
You get to understand what’s creating it in the first place, what you can implement in the meantime as a preventative, and get a plan of attack to deal with it.
Plus, 4 working dog spots to see it all come together.
You are not alone. Leash aggression/reactivity are one of the biggest issues owners struggle with. It might come down to a combination of factors, or a few key points you could discover in the workshop!”
Here’s what you can look forward to learning 💡
During this 6 hour workshop, you will learn highly effective strategies to modify and manage reactivity and leash aggression. How to create a meaningful and multi-layered relationship with your dog!
Modifying reactivity and aggression isn’t a leash wrangling exercise; it’s a test of your communication systems, your dog’s understanding of foundational obedience, the development of reward systems, handler engagement, and changing emotional responses through the training processes.
This system is not a quick fix, it is complex approach and requires a great deal of dedication to ensure you see results. As with any difficult training task there is a strong focus on establishing solid foundation work.
Dog Spots: We have 4 available! (Apply once you‘ve purchased your spot). Interested? Email through your dog’s behavioural history, their current training level and your behavioural goals in an email after you have purchased your ticket. Ryan@ozcorpk9.com.au ✉️
The purpose of dog spots are to demonstrate our practices and how they work across a range of varied dog types. With this being the case, you might not be selected if your dog presents the same behaviour as another dog attending.
Lunch will be provided + tea/coffee.
