SPARKKE SHOWS THE MINYMA MAYATJA (BOSS LADIES) FOR SALA FESTIVAL
Sparkke are celebrating female Indigenous artists from the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands of South Australia as part of this year’s SALA Festival.
Minyma Mayatia (Boss Ladies) will be housed in the Queens Room at the company’s multi award-winning brewpub, Sparkke at the Whitmore. The exhibition recognises and highlights the outstanding work of the Indigenous female APY Lands artists.
The exhibition features paintings, baskets, jewellery and bush balm which will all be for sale. The artists are: Raylene Walatinna, Emily Cullinan, Julie Yatjitja, Tjinkuma Wells, Ingrid Treacle, Rebecca Parker, Meredith Treacle, Mary Brumby, Rosalind Tjanyari, Linda Puna, Emma Singer, Anita Pumani and Josina Pumani.
The exhibition will be open from Saturday 1 August, following a special fundraising opening night on Friday 31 July.

Cost: Tickets $30 (with $10 donated to APY community) includes complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival & Indigenous ingredient canapes served throughout the evening
$10 per ticket sale will be donated to the APY Gallery
