This day is designed for participants who have had Mountain Biking experience, whether with WEOA or have personally ridden mountain bike trails

A minimum of two qualified WEOA Instructors will take a group of participants for an adventurous day of mountain biking. The day will begin with an ice-breaker and get to know you activities. Soon after, participants will partake in a rider refresher, teaching participants the WEOA way. This will include WEOA rules and expectations, the way our bikes are appropriately used, refreshers on braking, gearing and information they need to know about mountain biking safely.

Participants will be provided with with a bike, helmet, gloves and a high-vis vest.

Overall this is a day designed to improve mountain bike riding skills, navigation skills, getting to know new people and exploring the wonders of nature in a safe and enjoyable environment.

In addition, participants get outdoors to experience the beautiful nature of South Australia, meet new people and make new friends and gain a life long skill in a safe and controlled environment..

Amongst the activities we are holding on the day are:
• Bike riding.
• Our fabulous instructors will run a learn to mountain bike and navigation brief.
• Navigating your way through the forest on you bikes keeping an eye out for the treasure.
• Having a blast and improving skills in a controlled trail riding session.
• Play some exciting energetic team based games.

Please note: activities on the day are subject to the effects of time allotment, weather and number of participants booked on. Whilst we endeavour to do all activities advertised, some changes may be made on the day due to the above factors. Our priority is ensuring the kids have a great time and everyone gets a go at the activities we do provide.
