EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The Reindeer Run is an exciting way to greet summer and the upcoming holiday. The course is a 2.5km loop along the river, a quiet scene only a few hundred metres from the bustle of Glenelg. An aid station is passed every 2.5km and all distances of more than 2.5km consist of multiple loops.

*The GoodRunnings 6/12 is currently scheduled for Sunday 12 December 2021, on the same day as the Reindeer Run. However, if there is enough interest, we will work in conjunction with the council and Patawalonga Parkrun to move the Reindeer Run to Saturday, 11 December 2021. If this is likely to happen, an announcement will be made at least two weeks prior regarding the likelihood of the possibility.

AID STATION:
There will be 1 aid station on the course. It is present at the start/finish of each loop and is passed every 2.5km. The aid station will have water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, and first aid.

BIB COLLECTION, RACE BRIEFING, &
START LOCATION:
Bib collection is exclusively available on the day, starting 30 minutes prior to one’s elected distance’s start time. The race briefing begins promptly 15 minutes prior to a distance’s start time. The start/finish line is present at the end of Anderson Ave, down the street from Glenelg Baseball Club.

EARLY/LATE STARTS:
A two hour early start will be available to those who arrange it during registration. Late starts are available upon written request and valid reason.

CUT-OFF TIME:
All events will be cut-off at 6pm.

MEDAL:
An optional medal is available for free to events/distances of 21.1km and over; it is available for $13.00 for events/distances of under 21.1km. Personalisation services (of name, inspirational message, and/or finish time) are available for an additional cost.
