Vegan Palooza – an event for compassionate foodies, is being held again in 2023. Come celebrate a wide array of exquisite plant-based foods and expand your culinary experience on Saturday 1 July 12pm – 6pm at the exciting MAB Tonsley Innovation District.
Vegan Palooza aims to demolish the outdated myth that Vegan food is boring or limiting. There are thousands of edible plants available in the world, and some of the most talented food creators in SA will use these at this unique event guaranteeing there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Showcasing over 20 wonderful food stalls ranging from donuts, burgers, yiros by the iconic Staazi & Co. to middle eastern ice-cream from Sassi.
The global food industry is clambering to keep up with the rapidly growing demand for vegan food, driven by the increasing awareness of animal rights, environmental and health benefits of a plant-based diet. In line with ‘mock’ meats, we find the rising popularity of zero alcohol drinks. This ‘Dry July’, ‘Don’t Mock Me’ will be on site offering alternatives to your favourite pub drinks.
Vegan Palooza is embracing this global shift and championing two of SA’s proudest titles, leaders in social justice movements and one of the best foodie capitals of Australia. Brought to you by the proud winners of the Citizen of the Year Award for Community Events at the 2023 ceremony with the City of Adelaide, the team cannot wait to see you under the giant roof of the old Mitsubishi building and warm your bellies this winter.
