Hotel Alba will host numerous events across Adelaide’s ‘Mad March’ festival period, from bottomless lunches to public poolside passes.

Encouraging locals to make the most of this magical time of year, Hotel Alba wants Adelaideans from all over to enjoy Mediterranean affairs of the ambient kind.

There are five events sure to spark interest, including three food packages ranging in price.

The Gluttonous Delight high tea is a 90-minute Mediterranean-inspired event, featuring a mix of sweet and savoury products. Think charcuterie, cheeses, and butternut arancini paired with macarons and berry tartlets. Bottomless sparkling, coffee and tea are included in this $65 package, available Tuesday to Saturday.

If a pre-Fringe show dinner is the sought-after occasion, A Night Out with ela at Hotel Alba’s Mediterranean restaurant offers an express share-style dine in event. Amuse Bouche to start, followed by braised lamb shoulder and tiramisu, will get you ready for festivities. The package includes a glass of wine (sparkling/white/red) and is priced at $55pp.

The hotel’s famous Bottomless Lunch package is available for $89pp, featuring a three-course shared menu with major Mediterranean vibes. With bottomless sparkling, gin fizz, tap beer and soft drinks included in this two-hour experience, it can’t be missed. Sittings are on Saturdays for Bottomless Lunch at 12pm and 2pm, perfect to get the weekend started.

Also, a known event to Hotel Alba is the Paint and Sip afternoon, which is back on February 24 with The Makery Co. for those wanting to have their own festival-inspired artistic moment. This ‘Paint Your Own Clutch’ session, from 2pm to 4pm, includes a drinks package through the entire duration (sparkling, wine, tap beer and soft drinks). Charcuterie boards are also offered to share during the experience, ahead of guests taking home their self-designed clutch – all for $149 per person.

And if that wasn’t enough, Hotel Alba is also bringing beach vibes to the city on weekends from 11am to 4pm with Poolside Paradise. Water lovers can join hotel guests in the poolside area for $30.

Hotel Alba will also host resident DJ for the month of Fringe, Tommy Tequila, every Saturday 12-4pm.
