Fringe review: Daddy Algorithm ★★★★★

Rated ★★★★★

Have you delved into the world of online dating? Make your way to this quirky physical theatre production for an hour of very relatable comedy exploring disaster dates, human connection and AI algorithms.

Presented by Fullhouse, the talented cast really bring the energy for this performance with some well played clowning around, animated choreography and plenty of belly laughs.

Watch on as our two singles Emily (Matilda Boysen) and Nathan (Luke Wiltshire) meet at the Unlucky bar while waiting for their respective online dates (played by Chrissy Miller and Rob C Wells). Emily and Nathan go on a string of first dates so bad you can’t look away, while Dr Edwardo (Toby Blome) and bartender (Miranda Pike) watch on in intrigued amusement.

Written by Australian playwright and author, Nicole Plüss, this show traverses the integration of technology and human interaction, and our desire for connection.

Clever, relatable and highly amusing. Get across Daddy Algorithm this Fringe season, showing at Gluttony’s The Lark, at 6pm each night until Sunday 10 March.
