Howard Vineyard’s cellar door and restaurant will soon trade across the entire week in a boost to the Adelaide Hills region.
As the weather begins to warm up, the decision to open Clover + Stone restaurant on traditionally quieter days is a show of confidence for the popular winery.
Amber Flavell, Howard Vineyard Brand Manager, says it’s time to give locals and visitors both new and returning ultimate flexibility.
“Border restrictions will hopefully soon be relaxed, and with that come more visitors returning to the Adelaide Hills,” says Amber.
“It’s time to welcome back visitors from all around Australia – and overseas – to this amazing part of the world, and we want to be ready.”
From Monday, 20th September, visitors to Howard Vineyard will have access to the winery’s full offering at Clover + Stone, which includes a la carte and casual menu options, as well as their Janchi option – a Korean party banquet.
“If you haven’t visited us for the Janchi banquet, don’t delay in experiencing an essential foodie experience,” says Amber.
“We pride ourselves on offering one of the Adelaide Hills’ most unique restaurant options, where there’s really something for everyone.”
A la carte dinners are for a maximum of five people, where a two-course order is required, and bookings are recommended.
For the Janchi banquet at $60pp, bookings are essential. For a minimum of four people and mandatory for groups of six or more, the feast is curated by the restaurant’s Korean Executive Chef; Chang Koog Lee aka Cookie.
The casual menu, served in an alternate space to the restaurant and often accompanied by live music, features grazing platters, cheese boards and sides.
Howard Vineyard is second-generation family owned and has sold wines from their two vineyards for more than 20 years.
Their passion for wines from chardonnay to shiraz has seen popularity soar in recent years. Wine tastings and sales will also be available at the cellar door across all seven days.
Howard Vineyard’s cellar door and Clover + Stone restaurant can be found at 53 Bald Hills Road, Nairne.
