Mobile Karaoke Bar

High-energy, house party vibes with early 2000s nostalgia will come alive at Pitch, a mobile karaoke pop-up bar setting the Adelaide Fringe Festival alight this summer.

Ahead of Fringe, it will premiere at the Glenelg Ice Cream Festival this Friday, 6th February offering free karaoke delighting those willing to take a risk with a carefree and inclusive experience.

Pitch will be stationed at Chapel Plaza off Jetty Road from Friday, 6th February through to Sunday, 8th February, with paid sessions available for bookings on the Saturday and Sunday. The set up will be paired with a drinks van and tables so singers can work up their courage.

Cousins Claudia Chatburn and Jessica Kneebone created Pitch to fill a gap in the market based off their own desire to sing like no-one’s watching.

“Our childhood was full of sleepovers, long car trips (singing way too loud) and fighting over who got the Discman next,” says Claudia. “Pitch recreates these core memories for those who experienced something similar as kids.

“This is the glowier, louder version!”

Pitch will offer four different session lengths (20 minutes, 50 minutes, 70minutes and 90 minutes), with pricing varying depending on group size, decreasing per head as numbers increase.

With fun visuals and no judgement, Pitch is a private pop-up karaoke experience that brings contained chaos to all who choose the fun, available for hire for private functions such as hens parties, birthdays, weddings and engagement parties.

Pitch will then be at Fool’s Paradise at the Adelaide Fringe Festival from Wednesday to Sunday across the festival. Depending on demand there will be walk-up opportunities, but punters are encouraged to book ahead via the website.
