In his Adelaide Fringe debut, Reuben Solo bounds onto the scene and immediately sprains an ankle. He valiantly forges on to perform one of the most unique comedy shows of the Festival.
Reuben first turned heads with his short form sketches, and over the past three years has
become one of the most prominent and creative voices in online Australian sketch comedy,
with a burgeoning audience of 700,000 that know him for his clever scripts and surprising
twists. In 2022 he independently toured his first stand-up show around Australia. Now with a new show in 2023, he hits the festivals with an insatiable hunger for reviews and acclaim.
In Palindrome, he shuns the traditional form to create a frenetic whirlwind of high-concept
bits that play on tropes of live performance: encores, interludes, impressions, crowdwork and more. It will be chaotic. It will be whimsical. It will be ridiculous. It will be the final straw.
Come join the fun.
