The precinct’s restaurants, bars, boutiques and retailers are bringing shoppers and diners exclusive offers, in-store events, and unique experiences, with styling sessions and high teas among the drawcards throughout the month.
Arthur Koufalas, Chair of the King William Road Traders Association (KWRTA), says there are always new offerings to discover in the precinct.
“King William Road has an extensive range of retailers and restaurants, which lends to shoppers and foodies always being able to discover something new,” says Arthur. “The King William Road Sip & Style Soirée will be one of our biggest events yet and we hope people will come to King William Road in August to support our local businesses and experience everything King William Road has to offer.”
From hairdressers and bridal shops to cake makers and bars, the Sip & Style Soirée will feature a broad range of retail and hospitality specialists. Among them, Shane Staker will offer a styling and colour matching session and a $250 voucher with the purchase of a jacket or suit, while Hunter and Harper will encourage shoppers to dress for winter – half-price rain boots with the purchase of a rain jacket.
Séjour club and The Ark Clothing Co will have major fashion events – the former with an in-store fashion soirée with drinks and nibbles to launch their ‘Elysian’ 23 Spring/Summer collection, and the latter an exclusive August Collection Preview Night with stylists on hand to assist shoppers.
Better Together will feature a Month of Style, with a different South Australian fashion stylist every Saturday offering free advice.
Phoenix Sweet Cakery will offer a weekend high tea with selected sweet and savoury treats, and while Denim + Cloth and +One Dress Hire, are among those to have sip and shop nights.
Lukoumades will offer a $20 voucher to spend in-store with purchases of more than $50, while The Potato Project will discount a particular potato bowl for each night of the week.
Multiple restaurants will offer complimentary drinks with meal purchases, or special cocktails across the month.
Hello Neighbour/Artusi by Night will offer a special Sgroppino cocktail across August, a recipe containing vodka, lemon sorbet and prosecco. Godi la Vita will offer a set express lunch menu from Wednesday to Fridays.
STH restaurant will offer a complimentary glass of French champagne to all diners on Sunday nights of the month.
Bars getting among the Sip and Style Soiree entertainment include the newly opened Alt and Willy’s, which will offer Sunday jazz sessions.
The KWRTA is also pleased to announce Ellie Walker as King William Road’s ambassador. Ellie, a mum, home-stylist and local to the area, is excited about this partnership.
“You’ll always find me on King William Road,” says Ellie. “Whether that be shopping in the boutiques for myself or the kids, having lunch with the family or meeting friends for a coffee, King William Road has it all, and I’m really excited to be involved.”
Deals during the King William Road Sip & Style Soirée will range from one-night exclusives, to weekly, to across the whole month of August and shoppers are encouraged to visit www.kingwilliamroad.com.au/king-william-road-sip-style-soiree to discover how to make the most of what’s on offer, with more offers to be announced.
