One of the Adelaide Fringe Festival’s biggest shows in recent years returns for 2026 with new hosts and a swag of risque acts. Bringing Ellis Park to life with its own custom-built Spiegel Big Top, the R18+ show Infamous showcases a different circus experience unlike anything lovers of the genre have seen.
After two sell-out seasons, this cocktail of circus, cabaret, and comedy is still just as naughty and breathtaking and will run the entire Fringe season. There’s a growing bond between Infamous and Adelaide Fringe, with the production never headlining an arts festival before its first Adelaide run in 2024.
Joseph Ashon says, “Thousands have come through the doors to witness immersive circus acts both intimate and breathtakingly grand. Combined with the sensuality of cabaret performance, Infamous is a world-class spectacle,”
Cheeky comedy and original songs weave into a story of enrapturing nature, bringing a cast of more than 20 to the stage. World-class specialty acts including the mesmerising flying trapeze and jaw-dropping stunts will leave jaws on the floor as the artists complete gravity-defying stunts.
The two-hour show can be enjoyed with the opportunity for a premium experience – VIP tables include a dessert platter and bottle of sparkling wine. For those preferring reserve or ringside seats, food and beverages will be available for purchase. There is also a licenced bar for those wanting to buy alcohol on the night.
Infamous has toured across all of Australia and the US and has been shown to more than 200,000 delighted guests.
The Spiegel Big Top hosts nearly 700 people and will host nightly shows at 8pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday throughout Adelaide Fringe. Friday and Saturday nights will have shows at 6pm and 9pm.
Prices start from $65 per person, while ringside tickets are priced from $100 and tables from $125. Tickets are available from the Adelaide Fringe website.
