Finnish Formula One driver, Valtteri Bottas, and Adelaide-born, Olympic cyclist, Tiffany Cromwell, have officially launched OATH Gin in Australia.

Paying homage to their homelands, the gin has already seen success in Europe and can now be bought online in Australia or at Ambleside Distillers.

To mark the official launch into the Australian market, there will be a ticketed meet and greet event at Ambleside Distillers on Sunday, 26th January, where beloved fans of the sporting pair can get up close and personal and try the beverage firsthand.

Entering the competitive Australian gin market is a challenge both Valtteri and Tiffany were up for, and Tiffany says celebrating the move at home will be a nice touch.

“OATH is a gin we’re so proud of – it means a lot to the both of us,” says Tiffany. “We’ve travelled the world sampling gins and collecting, and now we’re amazed that we have an awesome drink to share with everyone in Adelaide.”

Hailing from Stirling, Tiffany’s relationship with OATH Gin comes from the crisp apple peels distilled in the gin (likened to those of the Adelaide Hills). For Valtteri, it’s the vacuum distilled oats relating to his family’s oat fields.

Distilled with a family formula, the special recipe uses the oats and apples as seasoning to the juniper base. The Finnish Spring water used is the world’s purest, while mellow base notes layered with floral, spicy and fruity notes linger with a hint of pine.

“Cocktail recipes on the OATH Gin website showcase numerous ways to enjoy the alcohol, but a classic gin and tonic with OATH works best with a simple cinnamon stick and apple pieces,” says Valtteri.

The launch of OATH Gin in Australia begins their summer Down Under ahead of participation in RADL GRVL, a gravel cycling race on Friday, 24th January during the Tour Down Under. Both Tiffany and Valtteri will take part across the associated event, which returns for its second year in 2025, with a $7000 prize purse for elite women and open/men categories.

Tiffany and Valtteri will also take part in secret rides with places and routes to be revealed across the summer.

Valtteri has found immense fame in Australia while spending time with Tiffany and family, showing South Australia to the world through social media channels.
