Adelaide dance studio, Star Academy, has premiered their new YouTube channel Star Girlz, featuring a vibrant new show encouraging resilience and self-worth.
Fresh off its official launch, Star Girlz is a children’s entertainment series full of fun, wellness and connection, with episodes to be released across the rest of the year.
Featuring four vibrant characters, Star Academy Managing Director Jenna Boffa-Maiolo says the power of positive role models cannot be underestimated.
“Creating a strong sense of self is crucial from a young age, and there needs to be positive influence in every child’s life,” says Jenna. “Star Girlz has powerful messages of wellbeing that help to support families in their journey of raising happy, healthy children.”
Star Girlz focuses on the adventures of Sunny, Luna, Skye, and Aries who arrive on Earth from outer space, each with their own unique strengths and passions. They’ve joined Earthlings to learn about health and wellbeing, and to inspire children along the way with their positive attitude.
Episodes focus on wellbeing across physical, emotional and social aspects, including mindfulness, gratitude, and self-care. From encouraging exercise and eating healthy food, to voicing an individual opinion, Star Girlz aims to empower young audiences with confidence.
Blending fun and adventurous stories with meaningful messages, the show is designed to also inspire parents in helping their children build character and shape the positive person they are.
Sunny, played by Zoe Burns, starred in the Netflix show Gymnastics Academy – A Second Chance as Scarlet.
Star Girlz aims to reach young audiences and families across the globe with its messages of positive wellbeing.
Star Girlz, a production from Adelaide’s own Star Academy, is now available to watch on YouTube.
Star Academy is located at 199 Franklin St, Adelaide SA 5000.
