The annual Make-A-Wish Gala Ball is returning to Adelaide for a night of glamour and giving, to support the extraordinary work of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Celebrating 33 years of granting wishes for critically-ill South Australian children, this year’s Gala Ball will be held on Saturday the 26th of October at Hilton Adelaide and aims to raise over $120,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Adelaide branch.

Chair of the Make-A-Wish Adelaide Gala Ball Committee and a volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Australia Adelaide Branch, Frank Jackowiak, says, “Wishes give children and teenagers battling life-threatening medical conditions hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness and a lasting memory of their incredible wish experience for them and their families.

“The Gala Ball is our leading fundraising event. The Make-A-Wish Foundation doesn’t receive any government funding, so without our supporters these children’s wishes simply wouldn’t be able to come true,” says Frank Jackowiak.

Hosted by Adelady’s Lauren DeCesare and Hayley Pearson, with performances from Bellarouge Dance Company, Entertainment Adelaide and All About Her, the 2019 Make-A-Wish Gala Ball is set to be a star-studded evening.

Guests will be treated to a gourmet three-course meal, an unlimited drinks package and will be able to bid on some amazing prizes including luxury holidays and exclusive experiences, with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish.

With over 400 guests expected to attend, including local VIPs and celebrities, the Make-A-Wish Gala Ball is a highly anticipated event on Adelaide’s social calendar for an incredible cause.
