Mini Shimmy Holiday Workshop
Mini Shimmy is a belly dance class designed for Primary School aged children. Belly Dance Amethyst is so pleased to offer their second school holiday program.
Belly dance is a low impact exercise which helps to develop coordination, musicality, self expression and confidence.
If you have a little dancer in your life, or are looking for a new entertainment for the kids these school holidays, this is perfect! Children will be entranced by a dazzling performance by one of our professional belly dancers, get hands on making their own personal costume accessory and have a blast learning some key belly dance moves to perform for you at the end of the class. The workshop is open to boys and girls or Primary School age, from 5 years to 12.
Light refreshments will be provided and parents/guardians are invited to relax with a coffee in our lounge while the kids dance.

Stadium Stomp Adelaide Oval
Stadium Stomp returns to the iconic Adelaide Oval with a new Autumn date of Sunday 20th May. The 2018 event will also see the introduction of two new Stomp categories – Short Course and Junior Stomp, both offering a taste of Stadium Stomp over a condensed course of 1,000 steps.
Climb your way up, down and around the bays of Adelaide Oval in this 6,000 (or 1,000) step stair climb. There will be rest stops (pick a seat!), drink stations and pumping music playing to keep you focused and energised. Plus, you’ll finish with a lap of the ground. Get ready Adelaide!
If you’re looking for something different for your next fitness challenge, something other than a fun run or bruising obstacle race, look no further than Stadium Stomp Adelaide Oval.
Stadium Stomp is suitable for participants of all fitness levels – choose your course and set your own pace. Anyone 12 years or older can enter individually or as part of a team with friends, family or workmates. Younger participants, aged 5-11 years can enter the Junior Stomp category and Stomp at 11.15am accompanied by a registered adult.
Stadium Stomp supports official Charity Partner, the Leukaemia Foundation and participants are encouraged to make every step count and fundraise for this amazing charity, or alternatively a cause close to their heart.
