Dirty Days

Bicycle SA has partnered with Forestry SA to deliver this mountain bike series featuring three of the state’s fantastic forests in the Adelaide hills.

The Dirty Days three ride series increases in difficulty over the series to help you improve your mountain bike skill level and fitness. Each ride day has three different route lengths which means you will be able to choose the distance that suits your level of fitness. Participants are welcome to take part in the complete series or come along to individual Dirty Days events.

It’s really easy to get involved in Dirty Days, you really only have to get there, cycle and go home again. The routes are all marked and signed so you won’t get lost and the longer routes have a rest stop with refreshments available so you don’t need to worry about carrying food or a bucket load of water. We also have mechanical support which can be called out to your location if you run into mechanical problems.

We’d love to see more kids on bikes so we also have Family routes which will be a good test and a taste of mountain biking for the younger ones in the family.

DATES:

Sunday, July 1 – Mt Crawford Forest

Sunday, August 12 – Kuitpo Forest

Sunday, September 16 – Cudlee Creek Forest

Stadium Stomp Adelaide Oval

Stadium Stomp returns to the iconic Adelaide Oval with a new Autumn date of Sunday 20th May. The 2018 event will also see the introduction of two new Stomp categories – Short Course and Junior Stomp, both offering a taste of Stadium Stomp over a condensed course of 1,000 steps.

Climb your way up, down and around the bays of Adelaide Oval in this 6,000 (or 1,000) step stair climb. There will be rest stops (pick a seat!), drink stations and pumping music playing to keep you focused and energised. Plus, you’ll finish with a lap of the ground. Get ready Adelaide!

If you’re looking for something different for your next fitness challenge, something other than a fun run or bruising obstacle race, look no further than Stadium Stomp Adelaide Oval.

Stadium Stomp is suitable for participants of all fitness levels – choose your course and set your own pace.  Anyone 12 years or older can enter individually or as part of a team with friends, family or workmates. Younger participants, aged 5-11 years can enter the Junior Stomp category and Stomp at 11.15am accompanied by a registered adult.

Stadium Stomp supports official Charity Partner, the Leukaemia Foundation and participants are encouraged to make every step count and fundraise for this amazing charity, or alternatively a cause close to their heart.
