The Alliance Française d’Adélaïde presents its popular annual French Market on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 November in the leafy Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens, cnr Unley Road and Thomas Street, Unley.
The 2017 French Market recorded attendances of almost 11,000 making it one of the most anticipated events in the Adelaide spring calendar. With more stalls, the 2018 Market promises to be bigger and better than ever!
The French Market is a chance for lovers of France, French style and culture to fill their baskets
with French-inspired gourmet goodies and picnic à la française. The Market is a colourful family affair, with French music, circus performers, demonstrations, face painting and more.
The Market features stalls selling French and French-themed goods, including patisseries, cheeses, charcuterie, Beaujolais Nouveau, French linen and handicrafts, French language books, perfumes and more. Among the new stalls this year are La Raclette who will be providing delicious melted cheese dishes, and the Belgian Beer Café who will be serving tasty mussels. At night the park comes alive with bud lighting, stage performances and French wine.
This year’s raffle offers 17 fabulous prizes, including a return trip for two to France, a year of French classes at the Alliance Française d’Adélaïde, a VIP experience at the 2019 French Film Festival, Tefal cookware, a hamper of Avene and Klorane products, Womadelaide and So Frenchy So Chic passes, A reserve double passes to Madiba the Musical, French linen artisan aprons, gourmet baskets full of popular French products, and a case of French champagne.

The event that is all about quality – The Makers & Shakers Market – returns to Adelaide this October!
The Makers & Shakers Market is an indoor event that focuses on beautiful homewares, delicious gourmet foods and stunning lifestyle products. With 50 top-notch quality stalls, you will meet some of Adelaide’s best, as well as get to support emerging new talent.
There will be speciality coffee! Baked goods! Pastries! Gourmet Chocolate! Slices! Cookies! Any many more tasty things. There will be gf, vegan and vegetarian food options. There is indoor seating.

Hahndorf Creative Wood Market
Hahndorf Woodturner Charles Greig is hosting an amazing display of woodcraft. He has gathered members from around the state that are part of WoodgroupSA to display their creative works of art for sale to the public. In conjunction to the market style affair there will be several demonstration areas so that people can see how these crafts are created. This event supports members of the clubs attached to WoodgroupSA. Many of these members are retired and “Pay It Forward” with knowledge and skills to younger people.

Back after a winter break the Wattle St Market is a pop up garden market in the heart of the Eastern suburbs in Fullarton with a focus on Local and Handmade Artisans.
